The Inxpect C202A Ethernet and digital I/O control unit is designed for use with Inxpect’s 100 and 200 series safety radar sensors. The radar protection system is a flexible and reliable system. This C202A controller, formerly known as SBV-02, allows up to 6 sensors to be connected in series and safety zones to be accurately configured.

With the C202A, up to four safety zones between 0.5 and 5 meters (depending on the sensor type) can be set up and up to 8 zones can be configured. The muting function allows for temporary de-activation of up to two different groups of sensors, giving flexibility in complex machine or process setups.

Configuration is easy via the Inxpect Safety PC application with USB connection. In it, safety functions, warning and safety distances and the functionality of the I/O ports can be set. Thanks to its digital I/O structure, the C202A can be effortlessly integrated into existing machine controllers.

An Ethernet radar system consists of 1 C202A controller and up to 6 S101A or S201A sensors. Combined with 100 series or 200 series safety radar sensors, the C202A forms an Ethernet and digital I/O radar system that meets the highest safety standards: PLd, Category 3 (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 2 (EN 62061).
