Mechanical entrapment protection for safety light curtains with key | 70mm locking plate

Prevent entrapment of operators in hazardous areas with the BRAVO mechanical entrapment protection for safety light curtains. This mechanical entrapment protection for safety light curtains blocks light rays from the light curtain and prevents unexpected restart of machines during operations. The universal blocking system is fully mechanical, operates without wiring and is easily retro-fit to virtually any safety light curtain; mounting with sliding nuts is quick and stable. Operators are required to take the stainless steel safety key with them when entering the area; the mandatory key removal makes Lockout-Tagout procedurally enforceable. Two padlock holes (Ø 8 mm) are provided for multiple employees or major maintenance. The system comes with a stainless steel key and is available with locking plates in different sizes for mounting on column or protection profile. The key is uniquely coded (200,000 codes) and can optionally be laser engraved free of charge (3 lines of 10 characters). The all stainless steel 316 construction is very robust and suitable for demanding industrial environments. The Bravo entrapment protection in operation. The entrapment protection blocks the light rays from a safety light curtain by turning the coded key. This prevents the safety contacts of the safety light curtain from being switched. When the safety light curtains are broken, the coded key can be removed. The coded key can only be taken out when the blocking device breaks the rays of the safety light curtain. The operator takes this safety key into the protected area, making unexpected restart or reset of the machine impossible. The Bravo entrapment protection can be equipped with 2 padlocks, this prevents entering the safety key when multiple operators enter the room.
