HED Magnetically coded dual safety sensor | 6 Meter cable | Open end

The HED magnetically coded non-contact double safety switch is designed for use in machine safety applications where a high degree of reliability and tamper protection is required. This switch is designed to monitor 2 doors simultaneously with 1 switch.

Thanks to the coded magnets, the switch is protected from tampering. In combination with the SCU-1 safety relay, up to 30 switches can be connected in series, allowing flexible installation. The built-in dual color status LED clearly displays the operating status.

The switch is highly shock and vibration resistant, easy to mount and has a large alignment tolerance. Both the switch and actuator are made of rugged ABS and fully sealed to protection class IP67 and IP69K. This makes them suitable for use in contaminated environments and easy to clean.

The HED switch requires both actuators to be in place to operate the contacts. If one actuator is removed, the NO contacts are opened and the NC contact is closed.Mechan Control’s HED safety sensor has 2NO + 1NC contacts.

In combination with a safety controller, this safety switch can be used in installations up to Performance Level e (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061), meeting the highest safety standards for machine guarding.
