Machine guarding panels made from mesh, polycarbonate or solid sheet material provide safe protection in accordance with EN ISO 14120. Choose from ST20, ST30, ST PC and ST Solid to suit any industrial application.
Guarding panels form the structural basis of machine guarding systems and provide mechanical separation between personnel and hazardous machine zones. Depending on the required visibility, impact resistance, hygiene level and installation method, panels are available in mesh, transparent polycarbonate or solid steel configurations. Troax panels comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EN ISO 14120, making them suitable for automated systems, industrial robots, welding cells and hygienic production environments.
The ST20 mesh panel uses a 19×19 mm steel tube frame combined with a 20×100 mm mesh pattern. It enables clear visibility into the guarded machine area while providing compliant protection. The panel withstands impact loads up to 2100 J in accordance with EN ISO 14120.
The ST30 is a reinforced variant using a 30×20 mm frame with increased rigidity and higher structural strength. It withstands impact loads up to 6000 J and offers excellent visibility with the same 20×100 mm mesh configuration.
The ST PC panel provides maximum process visibility through a transparent polycarbonate screen mounted in a steel frame. It eliminates openings that could allow manipulation and can be installed directly at the machine surface, making it suitable for cleanroom and inspection applications.
The ST Solid panel uses a closed steel plate integrated in a rigid frame. It is designed for environments with sparks, splashes, particulates or the need to block line of sight. It can be mounted close to the machine without compromising safety distances.
Panels can be trimmed on-site using dedicated cutting profiles for a precise fit. All variants integrate seamlessly with Troax mounting solutions such as SmartFix, RapidFix and StrongFix.
Troax guarding panels are fully modular. Panels can be mounted, repositioned or replaced quickly, enabling efficient reconfiguration during production changes, machine upgrades or layout optimisation.
