MS2 Magnetic cylindrical (M18) safety sensor | 3 Meter cable | Open end

The MAGNASAFE MS2 is a cylindrical, magnetic, non-contact M18 safety switch. Designed for monitoring machine guarding such as hinged doors, sliding doors and removable panels, this safety sensor is suitable for applications without guard interlocks.

The housing is made of red ABS and fully molded with resin, ensuring high ruggedness and protection against moisture and dirt. Both the switch and actuator are sealed to IP67, making the MS2 easy to clean and function reliably in contaminated or wet environments.

The MS2 features 1NO contacts with a contact load of 1 A at 24 VDC. The sensor is equipped with a 3-meter cable (2-core). Thanks to the switching distance of 10 mm (in) and 30 mm (out), the switch offers a high alignment tolerance and a long, trouble-free service life.

The MS2 is easily mounted behind non-magnetic surfaces and can be used in combination with a safety controller in PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061) safety functions.
