MS8 Magnetic safety sensor | 3 Meter cable | Open end

The MAGNASAFE MS8 from Mechan Controls is a compact, magnetic, non-contact safety switch for monitoring machine guarding such as hinged doors, sliding doors and panels. Suitable for applications without interlocking.

The switch has a slim red ABS housing, for high robustness and reliability. Thanks to its wide switching distance of 30mm ON / 50mm OFF, the MS8 is very tolerant of misalignment and easy to install, even with guards that do not fit perfectly.

The MS8 has 2NO contacts and is equipped with a fixed cable (6-core, open end). With protection class IP67 and IP69K, the safety switch is fully sealed and resistant to cleaning and use in contaminated environments.

The MS8 works with safety relays up to 0.3 A and is applicable in PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061) systems.
