The stainless steel MAGNASAFE MS8-SS from Mechan Controls is a compact, magnetic, non-contact safety switch for monitoring machine guarding such as hinged doors, sliding doors and panels.

The switch has a slim stainless steel 316 housing, for high robustness and reliability. Thanks to its wide switching distance of 30mm ON / 50mm OFF, the MS8-SS is very tolerant of misalignment and easy to install, even with guards that do not fit perfectly.

The MS8-SS is equipped with 2NO + 1NC contacts. Equipped with a fixed cable (6-core, open end). With protection class IP67 and IP69K, the safety switch is fully sealed and resistant to cleaning and use in contaminated environments.

The MS8-SS can be used in combination with safety controller in PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061) applications. The magnetic safety sensor comes complete with actuator
