OHE1 Magnetically coded OSSD safety sensor | 6 Meter cable | External Device Monitoring

The OHE1 is a standalone, magnetically coded non-contact safety switch from Mechan for monitoring hinged doors, sliding doors and removable machine guarding without interlocking. Tamper-resistant according to EN 14119 and suitable for application up to Performance Level e according to EN ISO 13849-1.

The switch features 2 OSSD safety outputs and 1 NC notification output, with a switching capacity of up to 2 A at 24 Vdc. Series connection of up to 30 switches is possible while maintaining PL e. Two RGB status LEDs provide comprehensive diagnostics on the switch. Overhanging design improves visibility in awkward mounting positions.

The OHE1 is available with 3-, 6- or 10-meter cables. The fully sealed connections make the switch suitable for wet and demanding environments.

The switch is equipped with External Device Monitoring (External Device Monitoring). This allows the status of contactors or safety relays to be monitored to detect failure of the external device, often eliminating the need for a separate safety monitoring device.
