PMF 2015-SIL 24 DC RD for bracket mounting

The PMF 2015-SIL is a safety-oriented optical signal lamp that meets the requirements of IEC 61508 (SIL 2) and EN ISO 13849-1 (PL d). This signal lamp is implemented as a very powerful xenon flashing beacon (10 J) and is intended for applications in which visual signaling fulfills a direct safety function. The use of a Fresnel lens bundles the light to a high light intensity, with a maximum viewing distance of up to approximately 348 meters. The PMF 2015-SIL is available in various lens colors, including transparent, red, amber, green and blue. The signal lamp is available for direct mounting or with mounting bracket.

The signal lamp supports the following optical signal function:

• Flashing beacon with a flash energy of 10 J and a flash frequency of 1 Hz (60 flashes/minute)

The PMF 2015-SIL is suitable for safety-relevant applications such as process plants, machine safety, leakage and gas warnings, start-up warnings, muting indication and delayed machine stop warnings. The integrated self-monitoring enables periodic inspection in accordance with normative requirements and supports application within safety-oriented control systems.

The housing offers IP55 protection when mounted vertically and is suitable for industrial environments. The PMF 2015-SIL is designed for continuous operation (100% duty cycle) and operates within a operating temperature range of -30 °C to +55 °C. The light source retains approximately 70% of its light output after approximately 8,000,000 flashes.

The PMF 2015-SIL is available in versions for 24 V DC and 230 V AC. This version has a supply voltage of 24 V DC. For other voltage variations or designs, please contact us. The signal lamp has an integrated alarm contact (1x NO, 1x NC) for status and error monitoring.
