The R-Type Proton from Mechan Controls is a lockable, magnetic coil-controlled safety switch with ball actuator. The RFID safety interlock is suitable for a variety of machine safety applications.

The unique mounting holes allow for easy installation on 3 sides, ideal for both hinged and sliding door applications.

Suitable for securing hinged doors, sliding doors and removable machine guarding.
Suitable for applications with guard interlock (exit time).
Includes RGB indicator for advanced diagnostics – visible from all mounting positions.
Material: Red ABS – reinforced with fiberglass & black ABS – reinforced with fiberglass
Equipped with high-coded RFID switch.
Large alignment tolerance (15 degrees).
Max retention force of 2,000 N.
Resistant to dust, vibration and dirt.
Sealed to IP67.
Solenoid emergency release on 3 sides.
I.c.w. safety controller can be used in PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061) applications.
Only 1 unit required for PLe (EN ISO 13849-1).
Protection against tampering, interference and sabotage.
