The RSSO is a uniquely encoded RFID safety sensor designed specifically for machine safety applications. With non-contact operation and uniquely coded RFID technology, the sensor provides excellent protection against tampering and unwanted circumvention. This makes the RSSO suitable for reliable monitoring of hinged doors, sliding doors and removable machine guarding, in applications without guard interlocks.

The sensor is equipped with 2NO + 1NC contacts and can switch up to 500 mA at 24 V DC. The integrated volt-free contacts give you complete freedom in your choice of relay or safety controller. Via the diagnostic interface with dual color LED, status and error messages are clearly displayed, simplifying maintenance and fault diagnosis.

The rugged ABS housing is fully sealed and meets protection class IP67 and IP69K, making the sensor resistant to dust, water and high-pressure cleaning. This makes the RSSO suitable for use in harsh industrial environments and easy to clean. Installation is quick and easy to perform.

The RSSO safety sensor meets the requirements for high-coded switches according to EN ISO 14119:2013. In combination with a suitable safety controller, the sensor can be used in machine safety systems up to PL e (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061).
