SAFIX 3 Non-contact safety sensor RFID uniquely coded with M12 8-pin pigtail

The RFID safety sensor is designed for reliable monitoring of hinged doors, sliding doors and removable machine guarding in industrial safety applications. Thanks to RFID technology, the sensor is optimally protected against tampering and meets the highest safety levels PLe (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN 62061) in combination with a suitable safety controller.

It features manual reset and uses OSSD contacts, allowing series connection of up to 30 sensors without loss of safety level. In addition, the system features an External Device Monitoring input, two dual-channel safety outputs and a diagnostic output for status monitoring.

With a supply voltage of 24V DC ±10% and a three-color status LED, operation is easy to monitor. The housing is made of robust PBT and both sensor and actuator are fully sealed to IP67 and IP69K, making them suitable for intensive industrial cleaning. In addition, the ECOLAB certification guarantees resistance to common cleaning agents.

Rechargeable: bring the voltage back to 20V DC and offer the new actuator to pair with the safety sensor.

The sensor can be activated from either the front or both sides and is high-coded in accordance with EN ISO 14119.

Note: This safety sensor can only be used with the T5 standard actuator.
